Welcome to SoulDream. These Terms are a legal agreement between you and SoulDream ("we", "us", "our"). By registering for or using SoulDream, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. What SoulDream Is
SoulDream is a dream journaling and AI interpretation app: you record your dreams, and AI generates interpretations, emotion analysis, and theme tags to help you understand yourself better.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use SoulDream. We do not offer the service to anyone under 16 and do not knowingly collect their personal information.
3. Your Account
SoulDream creates a guest account for you by default — no name or email required. The account is assigned a random account identifier used to store your usage records and account-related data. If you choose to link an email, Google, or Apple account (for example, to enable cloud sync), you must provide accurate and valid sign-in information. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not create accounts in bulk by automated means or otherwise abuse the service.
4. Your Content
The dreams you record belong to you. To provide the service to you (generating interpretations, cloud processing, etc.), you grant us the licence necessary to process this content for that purpose only; we will not use your dreams for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Important Notice: Not Medical Advice
SoulDream's interpretations are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for self-reflection and emotional companionship only. They do not constitute medical, psychological, or mental-health diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice. SoulDream is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you are experiencing psychological distress, please consult a qualified professional or contact a local helpline. Do not use SoulDream's content as a substitute for professional advice.
SoulDream is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in crisis or may be in danger, contact your local emergency services immediately, or reach out to a crisis helpline in your area.
6. About AI-Generated Content
Interpretations are generated automatically by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent with your actual circumstances. Please read them with an open but discerning mind.
7. Feathers and Virtual Items
"Feathers" are an in-app virtual unit used to access AI features. Feathers have no monetary value and are non-transferable, non-redeemable, and non-refundable. We may adjust how Feathers are granted and consumed.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You must not: reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the service; circumvent usage limits; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
9. Intellectual Property
The SoulDream app, its design, text, and marks belong to us. Your dream content belongs to you (see Section 4).
10. Changes to the Service; Termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. If you breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your access. You may delete all of your data in the app at any time.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service (temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or failures). To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses.
Your responsibility: you agree to be responsible for any third-party claims, losses, or costs that arise from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the service. This does not apply to matters caused by us.
12. Changes to These Terms
When we update these Terms, we will notify you in the app; your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute arising from these Terms through good-faith negotiation; failing that, the dispute shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in Malaysia. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
14. Language
These Terms are executed in English. Versions in other languages are provided for convenience only; in the event of any inconsistency, the English version prevails.
